The Three Act Cycle of Immersive Didactics (hereafter: ‘Three Act Cycle‘) forms the horizontal X axis of The 3-AS Model for Immersive Didactics. These acts follow a basic narrative arc that is complimented with insights from the fields of education, neurology, psychology and entertainment. The acts are ‘promises’, ‘progress’ and ‘prizes’ and are designed to be used chronologically and in repetition on a wide range of Educational Levels, from the macro level of curriculum design, development and review all the way down to individual lessons, learning activities and even individual student-teacher talks and interactions. In this article, we first present a few short fictional lesson case in whicht the Three Act Cycle is explained.
